Porter (LHR)

Heathrow Porter Service offers professional luggage assistance for passengers arriving at or departing from London Heathrow Airport. The service is available across all terminals daily between 06:00 and 21:00 and is ideal for passengers travelling with multiple or heavy bags, families, groups or anyone looking for a more comfortable airport experience.

For departures, the porter can meet passengers outside the terminal in the passenger drop-off area, load the luggage onto a trolley and assist with transporting bags to the airline check-in area. Assistance can also include stops at baggage wrapping facilities or oversized baggage check-in where required.

For arrivals, porters are available inside the baggage reclaim halls and can assist with collecting and transporting luggage from the baggage area to the arrivals hall and onward transport.

One trolley can accommodate approximately eight standard-sized bags. Additional trolleys can be provided if required. Extra charges may apply for inter-terminal transfers, hotel transfers and certain specialist luggage services.

For individual passengers, the service can normally be arranged on arrival, while groups or passengers travelling with a large amount of luggage are recommended to pre-book in advance.
